![]() In all, it's an excellent system in an incredibly small package. I love having a music spectrum playing on my keyboards. The included Razer Synapse, that ties into the Razer Cynosa Chroma Keyboard I bought because of the laptop, is a really cool feature to have. Even as the base model of the RB15, it has more than enough horse power to play the games I want and look good doing it. Over all the performance, minus a few bugs that worked themselves out through updates, has been stellar. Now, I'm currently writing this review on my old laptop that I bought the Razer Blade to replace! And at present have no realistic ETA of when I'll have a working power cord back for it! Never did I have a problem with these products, at least that needed any technical support or I might not have bought this laptop. Since that time, I have own a small number of their other products, including both the Razer Wildcat and Wolverine Ultimate for Xbox One. I have been a Razer customer since sometime around 2008 or 2009 when I first bought the Razer Onza Tournament Edition controller for the Xbox 360. I was super happy to own a Razer Blade Laptop. I would only recommend someone buy this at their own risk! This is the worst customer support I have ever received. They made me ship the defective one back, and expect me to wait almost a month before I get a new one. THIS IS A KNOWN TECHNICAL ISSUE! I've heard stories of people having them even set on fire! I am now currently embattled with Razer support trying to get a new power cord for my laptop. This laptop served me faithfully for just under 4 months, until the power brick randomly overheated. It wouldn't be crashing constantly from hardware issues and unable to be used for long periods of time. I'd invest your money in a Macbook though, for an extra thousand, like I should have done honestly. Gets hot sometimes, but looks well made from the outside. ![]() So now as a grad student and working professional, I need a new laptop, because I have a paperweight that has made me regret this purchase. I can't believe I can't return something so expensive as a Prime Member. Even though the return window was closed, it was only a week after it closed that this happen. Razer Support barely picks up the phone or responds to emails.ĭuring this whole time, I felt let down at the level of Amazon support. The 4 year protection plan I purchased with this laptop through Amazon was unhelpful, and refereed me to Razer Support, which fixed the issue, taking a long and annoying time to return it, and the laptop is still experiencing issues and is in need of a second repair now. After 2 months of use, it experienced with no spills or drops or fault of mine, a complete malfunction of the motherboard and keyboard, a "manufacturer defect". I purchased this laptop, and its been nothing but trouble.
